Summary

Shen Xi's father, Shen Ming Jun, had been absent from home for an extended period, concerning his wife Zhou Shi. Despite visiting the Wang family where Shen Ming Jun worked, they were unable to meet him as he had gone to the countryside on some errand. Zhou Shi feared her husband might have taken a mistress outside the city. Shen Xi reassured her that his father would not abandon them.
