Summary

In a tense encounter, the protagonist shoots Liao Neng point-blank, killing him instantly. As he attempts to escape with Shen Zhong Ping, they are ambushed by capuchins. Shen Zhong Ping is released when a capuchin reacts to tiger urine on him, but he panics and runs away. The protagonist, pinned down and in pain from a monkey bite, endures torture meant to distract his twin. Just as he nearly loses consciousness, Shen Zhong Ping returns, having retrieved a gun, and saves him by killing the attacking monkey. However, they are soon captured by a monster, and the situation escalates as Wu Lao Er retaliates against Zhou Chu Yi, ultimately leading to Zhou Chu Yi's poisoning and death, leaving the group in shock.
