Summary

Ye Fan and others investigate a crematorium haunted by ghostly wails since Xiao Yao's death. Zhang Fu Gui recounts the eerie sounds heard after burning corpses. Ye Fan proposes to burn Ma Bing's aunt's body to observe the phenomenon. Inside the cremation furnace, they discover a strange brick wall, which has historical significance tied to preventing malevolent spirits. Ye Fan uses his Nine-eyed Heavenly Pearl to detect heavy yin energy but finds no malevolent spirits. A loose brick suggests tampering, hinting at a deeper mystery. They proceed to the morgue, where they encounter Wang Ai Hu, an eccentric old man who raises further questions about the situation.
