Summary

Bai Xiao Chun is filled with dread as he witnesses chaos among hundreds of cultivators, including his loyal companion Zhao Long and the Fortune Teller, who are fixated on a platter of blood buns. As he grapples with the decision to save them or flee, the crowd descends into madness, believing the buns grant eternal life, leading them to harm themselves and each other. Bai Xiao Chun realizes the buns are illusions, and in a moment of determination, he rushes to save the Fortune Teller and Zhao Long, but they are consumed by madness. Just as he feels himself slipping into the same frenzy, he harnesses his mental power to break free from the illusions. He teleports to safety, but the two supernatural women behind the chaos pursue him. At the last moment, Gong Sun Wan Er intervenes, commanding the women to retreat, leaving Bai Xiao Chun shaken but safe.
