Summary

Nuwa, the Divine Goddess, has yet to find a successful strategy against Chu Yun, a mere bandit whose fortune is minuscule compared to the Ancient Emperor's. Two Fox Spirits are dispatched to deplete his wealth instead of defeating him directly. As they accompany Chu Yun to Kucha, they encounter a newspaper selling scheme reminiscent of Chu Yun's past life. After some amusing interactions involving the price of the newspapers, they learn about Master Ma's challenges. Chu Yun, once a strong disciple, finds his master in dire straits, needing his assistance. The atmosphere is filled with intrigue as the Fox Spirits are captivated by the unfolding events.
