Summary

Zhang Ye, a young poet, receives a call from his mother, reminding him about the Mid-Autumn Festival and asking him to come home. However, Zhang Ye tells her he has to work overtime, but promises to visit his grandma's place in the evening. Zhang Ye's mom asks him to give her face by bringing a nice gift and selling his poetry. At the office, Zhang Ye discusses his poetry with his colleagues, who are divided in their opinions about his work. Some praise him, while others criticize him, citing the opinions of experts from the Writers' Association. Zhang Ye feels that the opinions of experts can be influential and sometimes harmful. Later, the office announces a change in the broadcast schedule, and instead of recording a program, they will be live broadcasting music, news, and poetry for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Zhang Ye learns that the Beijing Writers' Association will be hosting the 7th Mid-Autumn Poetry Recitation, and he feels a spark of excitement and competition.
