Summary

In a desolate forest under a bright moon, Yu Du Xiu senses he is being tracked after three days of evasion. Two pursuers, an elder and a tracker, are determined to catch him. Tensions rise as the elder, frustrated with the tracker’s incompetence, attacks him, leading to the tracker’s unexpected death. The elder, realizing he now lacks guidance, feels a chill and senses a formidable enemy nearby. He encounters a green-eyed beast, which he underestimates. Meanwhile, Yu Du Xiu, on a quest for rare herbs, reflects on his past and the significance of his journey. The chapter concludes with a transition to the next part of the story.
