Summary

Li Ming Yao swiftly reacted to a horrifying scream, grabbing a clay compass and talismans as I rushed out to warn Uncle Meng. We discovered a ransacked apartment below, finding a dead man with signs of a Hopping Vampire's attack. Despite our fear, we decided to chase the creature. Li Ming Yao used black dog's blood with a compass, leading us into a forest. Exhausted, we took a break, during which Li Ming Yao expressed guilt over the victims' deaths. I dismissed his sentiments, but just then, a Hopping Vampire appeared, prompting a mix of fear and laughter from me as we faced the supernatural threat together.
