Summary

The Dragon Ascend Pavilion, a newly renovated four-story tavern, features a grand entrance with eight storefronts and luxurious private rooms on the upper floors. Tang Xiu visits the tavern, recognizing former cashier Sun Yue, who informs him about the tavern's successful reopening and renovations funded by his father. As Tang Xiu helps with unloading expensive liquor, he encounters Shen Mei Yun, a warehouse manager, who initially scolds him for moving two boxes at once. After a tense exchange, Sun Yue reveals Tang Xiu's identity as the "little boss," leading to Shen Mei Yun's embarrassment and apology.
