Summary

Shi Mu wakes up in a misty world, realizing he is about to face the trial of the Old Ancestor, the White Ape. Determined to succeed, he is suddenly engulfed by the mist and transported to a beautiful new world filled with vibrant mountains, waterfalls, and celestial creatures. He rides a white cloud and follows enchanting music to a grand palace where he is welcomed by maidens and seated among celestial beings. As he enjoys the festivities, he becomes suspicious and realizes he might be deceived. When he confronts them, an elder attacks him with a powerful golden hand, leading to his unconsciousness. Upon waking again in the gray mist, he finds himself on a desolate yellow land amidst a fierce battle involving giant demon monkeys and golden ships, recognizing the scene from a previous dream.
