Summary

Li Yan Qing captures a man in black who attempted to set fire to the east wing of his residence. After extracting information about Liang Zhi, he kills the man and rushes to the Liang Family Inn, suspecting Liang Zhi is there. Upon arrival, he interrogates an attendant who reveals Liang Zhi's location. Li Yan Qing and his companions subdue guards and confront Liang Zhi, who tries to escape but is captured. Afterward, news spreads about the attack on Li Yan Qing, leading to public outcry against Liang Fang Ping, who is implicated in the assassination attempt. Later, Dali Temple officials report that Liang Zhi has committed suicide, complicating the investigation. Amidst the turmoil, discussions arise about disbanding the Military Supervision Office, which is confirmed by Minister Fan, leaving the officials uncertain about their future roles.
