Chapter 537: Confusion of Tripitaka. [537]
Summary
Tripitaka, in a state of despair, wanders the streets, feeling disconnected from the world. Despite chanting the Buddha's name to dispel his negative thoughts, he becomes increasingly agitated. As he chants scriptures, he draws attention from onlookers, who recognize him as Master Xuanzang. Suddenly, he radiates golden light, prompting people to kneel in reverence. Guanyin Bodhisattva appears, urging Tripitaka to awaken from his confusion. She reassures him that his doubts about Buddhism stem from manipulation by demons. Tripitaka expresses his struggles, and Guanyin emphasizes the importance of maintaining faith in the Buddha to overcome darkness and misunderstanding.Full content
