Summary

After a prolonged wait outside the Qi Kingdom's royal palace, Guan Fang Yi and Chen grew anxious about Niu You Dao's absence. When he finally appeared in a carriage, they were joined by a burly eunuch named Bu Fang, a confidant of the palace steward. As they traveled, they encountered disguised cultivators and children playing by a fire. Suddenly, the coachman collapsed, and Shao Ping Bo, who had left a banquet, went missing. Niu You Dao and Bu Fang attempted to search the Wei embassy for him, claiming he had stolen money. Tensions escalated with the guards, but they were ultimately allowed to search. Upon returning to the guesthouse, they found a letter indicating Shao Ping Bo had planned to leave for good, prompting an urgent pursuit.
