Summary

In a chaotic raid by thirty bandits, the Loulan Kingdom's elite forces are overwhelmed. Vice General Chen confronts Er Mao Zi, the bandit leader, who demands a ransom of 200,000 taels. Despite being defeated, Chen realizes paying the ransom is their only option. Meanwhile, two young women, Tu Qing Qing and Tu Yue Yue, observe the situation and are surprised by the bandits' audacity. After a battle, Chen's troops retreat, while Er Mao Zi, upon encountering the tied women, learns of another bandit group robbing merchants. He vows to retaliate against them, prioritizing this over the women's rescue, leading to their frustration.
