Summary

In the quiet night of the Kunlun Mountains, Qian Deng, the acting True Monarch, reflects on his long tenure filled with unfulfilled ambitions and a lack of true respect from his disciples. Despite his authority, he feels overshadowed by a more revered figure within the sect. As he walks through the darkness, he grapples with feelings of indignation and sorrow over his status. Eventually, he arrives at a cave, where he confronts the past and enters to meet a mysterious figure, revealing a complex relationship with his elder brother.
