Summary

Mo Wuji, a formation master, is approached by Chen Jushan, who expresses surprise at his skills. Mo Wuji, uninterested in socializing, reflects on his lack of affection for Mu Rong Xiang Yu and the dangers surrounding them. As cultivators set up protective formations in a grand hall, Mu Rong Xiang Yu thanks Gu Zi Jian for his earlier support, while Mo Wuji begins cultivating with limited resources. After a month of alchemy, he struggles to produce higher-grade elixirs and contemplates the challenges of ascending to higher levels in cultivation. He realizes the increasing difficulty and resource demands for progressing to higher ranks, particularly the significant gap between sixth and seventh-grade alchemists. Upon exiting his concealment formation, he finds only a few cultivators remaining in the hall, learning from Zuo Yi Xian that many left when the mist cleared. Zuo Yi Xian and others stayed out of concern for Mo Wuji, who offers his support and friendship, mentioning his alchemy shop.
