Summary

Lu Chen, the sole disciple of the esteemed Tian Lan Zhen, stealthily navigates the Kunlun Mountains at night with his loyal dog A Tu, avoiding patrolling guards. The Kunlun Sect's curfew is still in effect, and Lu Chen's status grants him a unique position within the sect. As they approach the forbidden ground, they reflect on the changes in the sect, particularly the erasure of Bai Chen Zhen's influence. Lu Chen observes the remnants of the once-majestic Winter Peak, now a mere mound covered in grass. He decides to enter the foggy area alone, instructing A Tu to wait outside due to the dangers within. As Lu Chen disappears into the fog, A Tu, feeling restless, begins to climb the mound, eventually encountering a pair of glowing eyes in the mist, signaling an ominous presence.
