Chapter 530: Agamemnon's Ambition. [542]
Summary
Menelaus shared his sorrowful tale with Agamemnon, seeking his brother's support to reclaim his wife, Helen, abducted by Paris. Agamemnon, initially pleased by the opportunity to unite Greece under his leadership, agreed to help but emphasized the need for a coalition of kings. He reminded Menelaus of the oaths made by princes at his wedding, which could now be leveraged to gather forces against Troy. Meanwhile, Zeus observed the unfolding events, concerned about Agamemnon's ambitions. Castor and Pollux, Helen's brothers, learned of her abduction and vowed to take revenge on Paris, preparing to sail for Troy.Full content
