Summary

The trio traverses a snowy landscape filled with villages and ordinary people, witnessing a brutal beating of a victim by three aggressors. Mu Xiao Yin, shocked by the cruelty, learns from a bystander that the assault is unfounded. As the victim, Zhang Ke, fights back against his attackers, Mi Xiao Jing recognizes him as a former junior brother. Despite Zhang Ke's humble demeanor, he finally retaliates against his bullies. Mi Xiao Jing, filled with rage upon seeing Zhang Ke's plight, attempts to intervene but is initially restrained by Mu Xiao Yin. However, he ultimately confronts the attackers, declaring his intent to defend Zhang Ke, showcasing the tension between cultivators and ordinary mortals.
