Summary

Yang Ling travels to Northern Jiangsu after a brief stay in T Country, opting to stay at a hotel instead of visiting acquaintances. He meets Zhao Yi Ran at the latter's company, who updates him on their operations against rival groups. Yang Ling reveals his intent to investigate his parents' murderer, suspected to be linked to the powerful Gong family. He expresses his desire to confront the Tian Zhao Society in the island nation, despite the risks. Zhao Yi Ran offers to accompany him but ultimately agrees to follow Yang Ling’s orders, recognizing his new authority.
