Summary

In a riverside encounter, a middle-aged man, Huai Gang, expresses concern for his elderly master, who has been wandering off. The old man shares his fruitful fishing experience and mentions an interesting young man with a dangerous murderous intent. Back at home, Nie Feng contemplates the old man's words about his heart being tainted by killing intent. After a commotion caused by Little Fox and Yan Huang, Nie Feng accidentally breaks a ceramic pill given by the old man, revealing it contains the Ice Heart Technique, a method for heart cultivation. Excited, he begins practicing the technique, swallowing the Ice Heart Elixir, which envelops him in chilling energy as he focuses on guiding it within himself.
