Summary

At dawn, White Lotus escapes her pursuers, injured and frustrated, and begins searching for Lu Chen, who has disappeared. She tends to her wounds in a secluded grove, contemplating her desire for revenge against him. Soon, Lu Chen and his black dog, A Tu, find her. Despite her initial anger, she reluctantly accepts his help in treating her injuries. Their conversation reveals tension between them, with White Lotus vowing to return the harm he caused her. As they discuss the nature of good and evil, White Lotus questions Lu Chen's worthiness as a disciple, and he reflects on their complicated relationship.
