Summary

Gao Shou, caught in a moment of embarrassment, confesses to an old lady about his feelings for Lin Yue, a girl he has admired for a year. The old lady, who runs a small shop, recognizes Lin Yue and invites Gao Shou to help her home during a heavy rain. Upon arriving, Gao Shou is surprised to find Lin Yue doing homework. They become friends during dinner at her grandmother's house, who hopes for a future connection between them. However, Lin Yue is resistant to her grandmother's matchmaking. Tragedy strikes when Lin Yue's grandmother is injured in an accident, leaving Gao Shou in shock as he witnesses the aftermath.
