Summary

An Zheng walks along a stream, wary of a strange figure he glimpsed earlier. Concerned for his companion Shan, he puts him into a bracelet for rest. As he approaches a mountain, he notices a thatched cottage and is drawn to it despite the tormented spirits bound to the peach trees around. Inside, he finds unsettling items and a painting of a figure resembling someone he saw earlier. Suddenly, a ghostly entity tugs at his sleeve, trying to communicate. An Zheng, feeling a mix of fear and curiosity, enters the inner room, leaving the entity behind, and discovers a dusty clay bed and a copper mirror, hinting at past occupants.
