Summary

In a realm beyond existence, a monk named Xuanzang journeys through a desolate void, carrying the weight of many lives awaiting salvation. As he presses forward, he experiences haunting visions of his mother, yet remains resolute in his mission. Meanwhile, in Huasheng Monastery, an abbot dreams of Xuanzang's return, sensing his plight. Li Er, the emperor, is disturbed by a similar vision of his brother Xuanzang, urging him to save lives. The narrative shifts to the Lion Camel Cave, where Xuanzang lies unconscious, while demons plot to capture him for his rumored immortality. They conspire to gather demon kings for a feast, presenting it as a 'Grand Purification Monk Assembly' to exploit Xuanzang's powers.
