Chapter 52: The Secret Between the Swordsmanship Girl and Her Mother. [51]
Summary
In this chapter, Maki Miyazawa is shown interacting with her mother, Gong Ze Dun Zi. Maki calls her mother and shares snippets of her school life, but their conversation reveals an emotional distance stemming from Maki's recent discovery of her adoption. Gong Ze Dun Zi, while caring, seems unable to bridge this gap, leading Maki to feel uncertain about their relationship. Meanwhile, the chapter shifts to other characters like Mine Shiori, who has returned to school after feeling unwell. She’s preparing to tutor Ezaki Naoha, who struggles academically despite her passion for kendo. Sawayama Haruno is intrigued by Naoha’s situation and learns about an upcoming kendo exchange event that Naoha is participating in. Mine invites Sawayama to watch, and he contemplates bringing Maki along, as they have recently developed a friendship. The chapter ends with Sawayama looking forward to the martial arts event and potential shared experiences with both Naoha and Maki.Full content
