Summary
Li Hao summoned his Divine Soul, which allowed him to locate two wandering children and swiftly travel fifteen miles to meet a black-robed scholar on a mountain. The scholar, who exhibited independent thought unlike the villagers, was painting a portrait of a woman resembling the soul behind him. Li Hao criticized the scholar's painting skills, pointing out numerous flaws, and eventually took the brush from him, destroying the painting. He then created a new, lifelike portrait of the woman, named A Yue, which deeply moved the scholar. Grateful, the scholar knelt and thanked Li Hao for allowing him to see A Yue again. As the scholar and the woman's soul transformed and faded away, Li Hao received a reward for clearing the Death River, marking his progress at 100%.Full content
