Chapter 52: Making Soap. [51]
Summary
Lao Fang, a poor commoner, is astounded to see fist-sized silver ingots scattered on the ground, far exceeding his understanding of wealth. His son-in-law, Li Yi, casually claims to have found them while lost. The silver could change their lives, but Li Yi contemplates maximizing its value rather than just buying food. He considers distilling high-concentration alcohol and making soap to secure a comfortable future. The alcohol market is lucrative, and soap is a rare luxury. As Li Yi plans, he admires Liu Ru Yi's graceful sword skills, wishing for similar abilities to defend himself and gain respect.Full content
