Summary

On an early summer night, six high school boys—Li Bin, Jia Ming, Hu Sheng, Zhao Guan, and the Wang brothers—celebrate their recent college entrance exams by having a barbecue on the back mountain of their school, using textbooks as fuel. As they enjoy their night, they share ghost stories about the mountain, each recounting chilling tales. Hu Sheng builds suspense for his story, but as he begins, he and his friends see two figures resembling high school students walking past them. The figures discuss the legend of six boys who perished in a fire during a similar barbecue, leaving the boys in shock as their festivities vanish.
