Summary

Lu Bing Qi, unaware of being targeted by Fang Yuan and Monk Jie Se, prepares to unseal a ghost at Chen Mansion, having been coerced by a pawnshop. Jie Se realizes the danger and attempts to stop him. A confrontation ensues, revealing Lu Bing Qi's supernatural abilities and his desperate situation under the pawnshop's contract. Fang Yuan, revealing his own ghostly powers, probes Lu Bing Qi's memories, uncovering a connection to a fierce ghost that killed Lu's nephew, Lu Xia. Fang Yuan offers help against the pawnshop, but Lu Bing Qi is skeptical about any hope of escape from its control.
