Summary

Su You Dao, despite a snapped tendon in his wrist, endures captivity with resilience. He meticulously plans his escape, breaking tendons in his foot to facilitate his freedom. Meanwhile, Que Er, a young woman torn between duty and affection, grapples with her feelings for him as she prepares meals. She admires his maturity, contrasting it with the youthful vigor of potential suitors. When she discovers his escape, she is conflicted, torn between loyalty to her family and her feelings for him.
