Summary

A Cuo experiences a sense of emptiness after sending his grandfather away and focuses on finding Monroe. After a brief encounter at the airport, he heads to a hotel in Frankfurt, staying in a suite with ample money. His evening takes a strange turn when he encounters a 'Water Person' emerging from his bathtub, revealing her identity as Cathleen Jones, sent by Saba to protect him. She informs him that recent troubles involving the Night are not their doing and that she has dealt with the gunmen he faced. Despite her offer of protection, A Cuo asserts his independence, stating he can handle himself against any threats.
