Summary

The chapter depicts a tense and mysterious atmosphere as a young master and Old Ma discuss a shadowy figure whose identity is shrouded in secrecy. Black-clad figures emerge, searching for the elusive shadow, leading to arguments among them about his whereabouts. They discover a trapdoor in a grass hut, sparking excitement among the group. Meanwhile, Lu Chen, cloaked in black attire and exuding a menacing aura, prepares to blend in with the black-clad figures. In a tavern, the young master expresses skepticism about the incompetence of the black-clad figures in capturing a seemingly powerless individual, while Old Ma, who is being interrogated, defiantly refuses to provide information.
