Summary

Shi Mu enters a stone room where he meets Grand Soul Master Yong Zhu, who examines a forging hammer Shi Mu presents. Yong Zhu explains that the spiritual weapon Shi Mu seeks has expired due to a previous agreement with another disciple. He offers Shi Mu two options: wait for a new weapon or choose from his inventory of existing weapons. Shi Mu opts for the second choice, confident in his abilities. Yong Zhu leads him to a chamber filled with spiritual weapons, but Shi Mu finds he cannot perceive their qualities. After a lengthy examination, he initially considers a long knife but is drawn to a black long staff. Despite Yong Zhu's annoyance, Shi Mu chooses the staff, which turns out to be a high-quality spiritual weapon, though it feels lighter than expected.
