Summary

In a narrow gorge, five players encounter a massive Mocking Tree blocking their path. They discuss various methods to bypass it, including chopping it down with an axe. Suddenly, the tree reveals a humanoid figure, the Tree Person, who expresses a desire to die. The players debate whether to fulfill this wish, while one player, Feng Bu Jiao, engages in a series of nonsensical questions to draw out the Tree Person's story. The Tree Person reveals he was transformed by a being named "Xing Shi." In a surprising turn, he offers compensation for his destruction, prompting Ji Bu to question the nature of such a deal. The chapter ends with the players considering their next move.
