Summary

Nie Yinniang encounters Cheng Dalei, feeling intense anger and a desire to kill him for his past atrocities. Cheng Dalei, attempting to defend himself, argues that his actions were for the greater good, which momentarily confuses Nie Yinniang. As they discuss, a battle between a strange snake and a giant insect unfolds nearby. Cheng Dalei seizes the opportunity to kick Nie Yinniang from the tree, rendering her unconscious after slamming her against it. Following the battle's conclusion, he binds her and drinks the blood of a slain tiger to regain strength. When Nie Yinniang awakens, she is horrified to find Cheng Dalei covered in blood. He dismisses her concerns and prepares to carry her away, leaving her powerless and at his mercy.
