Summary

Shao Bai and the Monkey secretly discuss matters away from An Zheng and others. The wooden box they occupy transforms based on thoughts, allowing outside observation, unlike typical artifacts. Inside, An Zheng converses with the little Ascetic Monk, Wu Ze, who shares his tragic past and the teachings of his late master about suffering and redemption. An Zheng learns of Wu Ze's injuries and supernatural abilities. Meanwhile, Da Xi Chang Ge's ominous presence raises concerns, prompting An Zheng to investigate. He leaves instructions to protect Wu Ze and heads to Peacock City, where he encounters a familiar figure, Da Da Ye, upon arrival.
