Summary

Du Yu contemplates the need to destroy the Han Mountain Temple before dawn to prevent the golden-bodied Arhat from landing in the Yue Kingdom. Despite the daunting, fortified structure of the temple, which is heavily guarded by over ten thousand monk soldiers, Du Yu remains resolute in his mission to flatten it. Ou Ye Zi warns him of the temple's invincible defenses, especially the World’s First Bell, which protects it from attacks. As the bell tolls, golden characters from the Mahayana Sutra illuminate the sky, summoning numerous golden Arhats to defend the temple, causing chaos in Gusu City and alarming neighboring nations. The overwhelming power of the Buddhist sect leaves Du Yu's allies in despair, realizing that the Han Mountain Temple's defenses are far superior to those they faced before.
