Summary

In Chapter 5, Li Nuo and a bespectacled man craft Molotov cocktails using diesel and hazardous chemicals in preparation for an impending threat. After creating four cocktails, they hear ominous sounds outside, indicating the presence of a monster. Despite the bespectacled man's fear, Li Nuo decides to confront the danger. They discover the bodies of Ma Si Han and Li Jiang Dong, and Li Nuo uses a Molotov cocktail to illuminate the area, revealing a grotesque monster. As the creature pursues them, Li Nuo formulates a plan to outmaneuver it and retrieve a password note. The monster attacks, but Li Nuo manages to evade its strikes and injures it by stabbing its eye with an iron rod. However, he suffers significant damage in the process, realizing his healing ring's limitations.
