Summary

In a dark, eerie swamp filled with animal skeletons and a heavy aura of gloom, silence reigns, interrupted only by distant howls and splashes from a mysterious pond. After five stagnant years, a skeletal lizard emerges, claiming the swamp as its territory. It searches for light among the bones but is ultimately destroyed by a claw from the pond. Observing this is a human skull, recently awakened and shrouded in a red veil, which begins a slow journey of survival by absorbing light from other bones. Over a year, the skull grows stronger and eventually targets the shattered lizard bones for greater power. It cautiously approaches the pond, absorbing light from the fragments while sensing a hazy red skeleton that seems to call to it, hinting at its human identity.
