Summary

In a decaying 12th-floor woodworking shop, Qian Ke'er encounters a foul stench and black slime, raising her alertness. Despite the eerie atmosphere, she searches for a key to Manager Yan's office, recalling warnings about ghosts and the mysterious disappearance of a couple. After finding the key, she notices the unsettling silence where scratching sounds had been, heightening her fear. As she retreats, the slime's increased presence and a sudden scraping noise behind her prompt a frantic escape. Using a powerful red veil, she momentarily transforms, distracting a ghostly presence. Exhausted but triumphant, she realizes her efforts were worthwhile.
