Summary

In this passage, Guanyin Bodhisattva reveals to Pigsy and Sun Wukong that their wives and children were part of a test orchestrated by Huan Xi Fo. The women, who previously seemed devoted, now coldly declare that their children belong to Huan Xi Fo. Pigsy and Sun Wukong are devastated by this revelation. Guanyin Bodhisattva, initially intent on punishing the disciples, decides to let the matter go due to the complexity of Huan Xi Fo's involvement. The four disciples, humiliated and disheartened, reluctantly continue their westward journey.
