Summary

Dao Ling and Ye Yun encounter an old man who claims to know about the Great Emperors, legendary figures from ancient times. Despite Dao Ling's formidable strength, he finds himself unable to escape the old man's grip, realizing the man's terrifying power. The old man mutters about everyone being dead before vanishing using the art of Shrinking the Earth to an Inch, leaving Dao Ling and Ye Yun astonished. Upon arriving in the ancient city of Yan Cheng, they hear rumors about Emperor Wu's prolonged absence in the Chaos Cave and the tension surrounding the Yan family regarding the Heavenly Fire. Dao Ling seeks to find Yan Mengyu, but faces hostility from Yan Dahu and others who are wary of outsiders and the Temple of the Gods. Tensions rise as Yan Qing tries to manipulate the situation, revealing the internal strife within the Yan family.
