Summary

In a northern city inn, two masked men, Tian Xiao and Ye Quan, infiltrate to eliminate Liu Xingchen. Tian Xiao uses sleeping gas, but Liu Xingchen, prepared with an antidote, fights back. Ye Quan faces a moral dilemma between loyalty to his friend and the need to obtain the Shan Hai Bao Dian for his wife’s sake. As the confrontation escalates, Ye Quan ultimately stabs Liu Xingchen, who accepts his fate. The two killers escape, leaving Liu Xingchen dying on the cold ground, highlighting the tension between friendship and survival.
