Summary

Xing Jue, a mid-level Battle Saint, is tasked by a powerful Soul Elder to infuse soul power into a soul compass. Despite the exhaustion, he feels hopeful about his father's survival and the compass's potential. As he dedicates himself to this task, news arrives of an impending visit from the Emperor and Marshal Xiao Ding. During their meeting, the Marshal challenges Xing Jue to solve a complex case involving a massacre of a high-ranking minister's family, with dire consequences for failure.
