Summary

Du Yu encounters a stunning beauty washing silk by the river, whose heavy makeup obscures her natural allure. She introduces herself as Dong Shi, a name associated with an ugly woman who mimicked the renowned Xi Shi. Despite her beauty, Dong Shi downplays herself, revealing that Xi Shi has been taken by the King of Yue, admired for her unmatched beauty.
