Summary

Li Yu, a kind-hearted individual, refrains from indulging in wealth, as seen when he receives four plates of gold cakes, which his friends Chen Fei Yang and Gou Tou Er take for safekeeping. Despite his newfound fortune, Li Yu remains humble, storing valuables without altering his residence. His reputation as a powerful figure in Lizhou City deters any threats. Invitations from two women, Yan Shuang Fei and Huang Li Er, intrigue him. While Chen Fei Yang jokes about Huang Li Er's intentions, Li Yu firmly rejects the idea of being lured by such means. His attention shifts to Ji Xiang, a hardworking woman, igniting thoughts of a potential future together, despite her current profession.
