Chapter 49: Chen Churui. [49]
Summary
In a conversation between Qin Ying and Chen Song Tai, the latter expresses his disgust towards a large hairy crab, deeming it unfit for consumption due to its scavenger nature. Qin Ying, however, sees the crab as a solution to both the food crisis among disaster victims and the pest problem in rice fields. Upon returning to the Grand Tutor's residence, they encounter Chen Song Tai's wife and daughter, Chen Chu Rui, who is enamored with Qin Ying's literary fame. Despite Chen Song Tai's concerns about his daughter's interest in Qin Ying, she eagerly wishes to stay and enjoy a meal with him, leading to a light-hearted exchange about food and poetry.Full content
