Summary

In the ancient castle of Hoggard, Chen requests a long leave from Professor Dumbledore, feeling overwhelmed and needing time alone. He departs secretly, leaving his friends, especially Bu Lai Ke, worried about his absence. While Chen explores the outside world, Bu Lai Ke and Hermione face their own challenges, including Hermione's near-fatal dark magic attack. Despite their concerns, Chen finds peace and maturity during his journey. Upon returning to Hoggard after a semester, Chen's demeanor has changed; he is distant and indifferent, causing confusion and pain for Bu Lai Ke, who struggles to understand his friend's transformation.
