Summary

Ye Xuan, initially teasing his aloof master, the Demon Empress Zhu Rong, is interrupted by a strange voice outside. Two lovers inside the cave are horrified, believing they are caught, but the voice turns threatening. The newcomers use powerful demonic arts, instantly killing the lovers. Ye Xuan faces a dilemma: help Zhu Rong and confront the Gorefiend Old Ancestor, or abandon her. Despite their enmity, he realizes he can strategize against her instead of seeking romance.
